How to manage course pricing and visibility

Once your course is created, you can manage how learners purchase or access it and how those options are presented in your school.

From the course settings, you can manage your pricing options, choose how they appear through the enroll button, and review the offers, recommendations, and learning programs connected to the course. You can manage these settings from the Pricing and Visibility pages.

This guide explains how to configure both areas and manage your course's pricing and presentation.

Access the course pricing page

1. Navigate to Courses & Programs → Courses.

2. Click on the course you want to update.

3. Navigate to Pricing.

When you create a course, the pricing option you select during setup becomes its first pricing option. You can then go to the Pricing page to edit this option or add additional pricing options.

For example, you can offer the same course with both a one-off payment and a subscription, allowing learners to choose their preferred payment method.

The Pricing page displays all pricing options for your course, along with their name, type, price, and status.

Adding multiple pricing options requires the Pro Trainer plan or higher. On Starter, course pricing is limited to One-off, and additional pricing options cannot be added.

Add a pricing option

Select Add pricing option to create another way for learners to purchase or access the course. Depending on your setup, you can create pricing options such as a one-off payment, payment plan, subscription, or free.

Each pricing option has its own configuration, including its payment terms, availability, audience, and access settings.

For detailed instructions on creating and configuring each option, see this guide.

Review and manage your pricing options

Use the Pricing page to review and organize the pricing options for your course. You can:

  • Search for an option by pricing name
  • Filter options by type, status, or audience
  • Reorder pricing options by dragging them into the order you want learners to see them

Each pricing option also has an actions menu. Depending on the option and its status, you can:

  • Edit its settings
  • Set as primary to make it the course's primary pricing option
  • Archive it when you no longer want it available for new enrollments
  • Delete it when deletion is available
  • Copy Price ID
  • Copy checkout URL to share a checkout link for that pricing option
  • Copy add-to-cart URL, when available

The crown icon identifies the course's current primary pricing option.

When the Compare-at price option is enabled, the special offer banner is automatically added to the course card and displayed across all course card sections throughout your school. You can customize the banner text through the Site Language.

- The primary pricing option is used as the default when a supported action requires a pricing option and none is explicitly selected. For more information about setting and changing the primary option, see here.

Manage your course visibility

Open Course settings → Visibility to manage how the course's pricing options are presented through the enroll button and review other places where the course is offered.

The page includes settings for the Enroll button, Offers, Recommendations, and Programs.

Configure the enroll button

When your course has multiple pricing options, you can give learners access to these choices from the course's enroll button.

Under Enroll button, enable Enable multi-pricing options button. When enabled, learners can open the enroll button menu and view the available pricing options for the course. Use the preview on the page to check how the enroll button will appear.

Learners only see pricing options that are available to them based on the conditions configured for each option.
