How to Find your D-U-N-S Number

A D-U-N-S Number is required when setting up an Apple or Google Developer Organization Account. This feature verifies your business's identity and ensures it's a legitimate legal entity. It’s used by both Apple and Google to confirm that you're representing a real organization.

A D-U-N-S Number (short for Data Universal Numbering System) is a unique, global nine-digit identifier used to recognize businesses. Companies like Apple and Google commonly require it to verify an organization’s legitimacy. Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) issues this number, which is usually available free of charge.
