How to Test your App Before Submission

We have created a unique test app that loads an identical, working prototype of what your published app is going to be. In this article, you will find more information on how to test your app before submission and after the customization

Tip: It is recommended that you review the app and make updates, if needed, before submitting it to make sure that your app meets your needs and design.

Navigate to Mobile App → Test your app. You will land on the testing page, where you can find the links to the test app as well as your app’s credentials.

Step 1. Download the testing application to load your app.

Depending on the type of device, you can either choose to download from Google Play (Android app for Android Devices) or the App Store (iOS app for Apple devices). Alternatively, you can head over to the Google Play Store (for Android devices) or the App Store (for iOS devices) and search the term LearnWorlds Mobile App Builder. You can find out more in our respective articles.

Step 2. After downloading and launching the test app, you will be met with the following screen:

Where you will be able to scan the QR code or enter your app’s code. After entering the correct credentials, your new app will load onto the test app and you will be able to see how it will look once it goes live!

Notes:

  • In the test mobile app, as a user, you will be able to view your enrolled courses, as well as any Free courses of your school.
  • In-app purchases and push notifications are only available in the live mobile apps and not in the test version.
