In LearnWorlds, you can add a SlideShare presentation learning activity, which enables you to include a Slideshare presentation in your courses using its embedded code. Slideshare presentation activities enrich the learning experience by providing diverse and engaging multimedia content.
In this article, we will see how to create a Slideshare learning activity, incorporating the presentation embed code, and examining the user experience.
Create the Slideshare learning activity
After creating your course and the course sections:
1. Navigate to the Course Manager, locate the desired course, and go to Course outline.
2. Click on Add activity.
3. Under the Embed category, choose the Slideshare.
4. Give a title to your Embed learning activity and click on Save or Save & Edit to make changes immediately.
Find and copy the SlideShare embed code
1. Select the appropriate privacy settings to allow embed (don't forget to click on Update at the bottom of the page).
2. Copy the Embed code, either by clicking on the Copy button or double-clicking on the code itself.
Alternatively, copy the embed code using the Share icon from within the presentation.
Add the Slideshare embed code
To edit your presentation and insert the Slideshare embed code:
1. Hover over the Slideshare learning activity and click on Settings.
2. Add the embed code of your SlideShare uploaded presentation.
3. Click Save.
