Quiz

This is a self-assessment quiz that consists of multiple-choice and true/false questions. Quizzes are not formal exams. Learners get immediate feedback for their answers but they do not get a score after completing a quiz.

Exam

Exams can be used for creating formal tests. You can create any kind of test by managing settings such as the duration of the test, the maximum number of tries, passing grade, etc.

Assignment

Assignments are open-ended (text) questions that your students have to answer by writing a paragraph of text.

File Assignment

The difference between File Assignments (available for the Pro Trainer plan, or higher) and the Assignment learning activity is that students can now upload their own files as well.

Certificate

Certificates are formal exams and if they are completed successfully, learners get an award, which is a pdf certification file. So, each certificate is a formal test.

Certificate of completion

Certificates of completion are awarded to students after they have finished studying a course (they have visited all the learning units or they have successfully passed all the tests of a course).
