You probably think that the creation of an Ebook is a difficult process, demanding design or even coding skills. Well, you can breathe a sigh of relief because the only thing you need is your computer! Within LearnWorlds the development of an Ebook is a trouble-free procedure and is accomplished in the following steps:

1 After you have created your course, go to the course page and you can either click on the "Contents" tab above or scroll down and find the "Edit contents" button.

2 Then, find the section you'd like this new Ebook to be added and click on the "Add an activity" button.

3 To create a new Ebook, click on the “Ebook” button at the “Multimedia” menu.

4Then you have to give a name to your ebook and click "Save".

Did you change your mind about the Ebook title? No worries! You can easily modify the title by clicking on it or on the “Settings” button where you can also change the description or even the icon of your Ebook.

When the side form pops-up you just fill in your new awesome and eye-catching title.

A “book” icon and the description “ebook” of your learning activity will be visible to your learners in their course player.

So if you want to give a more detailed description of your learning activity you can easily change it by filling your new short-type description.

You can also hover over the “icon” and a menu/panel with icons will pop-up so if you want to change it you can choose the one that suits your needs best.

Don’t forget to click on the “Save” button, otherwise your changes will be discarded.

Congrats! You just completed the first step in creating your awesome Ebook and now it’s time to add content to it. There are two ways you can do this:

⦁You can either click on the “edit ebook” button on the course contents page

⦁Or by clicking on the “Settings” button and on the “Update ebook text” page, select “Edit ebook text”

Awesome! On the next screen you will find yourself on the Ebook Authoring page. Now you are more than ready to add content to your first Ebook.
