User Management - Bulk Actions

Managing users one by one can be time-consuming—especially as your school grows. LearnWorlds offers Bulk Actions to help you manage multiple users at once with speed and accuracy.


Whether you need to import users, enroll them into products, update progress, or remove access, bulk actions let you do it all in just a few clicks using an Excel file. This feature is designed to streamline your workflow and give you more time to focus on teaching and engagement.


In this article, you’ll learn which bulk actions are available by plan, how to use them, and where to track their results.


Plan Availability

Pro Trainer plan: Multiple selections (Delete, Anonymize, Re-send activation link), Bulk Import users, Bulk Tag users

Learning Center plan: Multiple selections and all Bulk Actions available

Bulk Actions via File


To choose the bulk operation you want to perform, hover over “Bulk actions”. Each option provides a downloadable Excel template (.xls) to help you format your data. Fill it in and re-upload to proceed

Available bulk actions:


Multiple Selections – Quick Actions


You can also manually select multiple users and apply one of the following actions directly:

  • Enroll / Unenroll

  • Update Progress

  • Add / Remove Tags

  • Add to User Group or Seat Offering

  • Suspend

  • Anonymize

  • Delete


To select multiple users, check the boxes next to the users you want, then pick your desired action.


After clicking on Anonymize, the following message will appear informing of the following:

  • The personal data of these users will be removed from your school's database.
  • The users' names on all their posts, comments, sales records, analytics, etc., will be displayed as Anonymous.
  • The removal is permanent and cannot be undone.
  • The LearnWorlds admin will not be able to be anonymized, even if selected. The records of this action will be available in the Users actions.

Tracking Bulk Actions in the User Action Log


On the User Action Log page, you can review detailed information about all bulk actions performed in your school.

You’ll find:

  • When the request was submitted.

  • When the action finished processing.

  • Whether it succeeded, failed, or is still in progress.

  • The specific bulk operation performed.

  • Outcome summary for each action.


If an action fails, you can download the failed file. It contains detailed error messages explaining why specific entries weren’t processed, helping you correct and retry them efficiently.


To find the records of your Bulk actions, navigate to Reports  Activity logs  Users Actions.
