Getting Started as a Hub Publisher in the LearnWorlds Course Hub: Onboarding Checklist

Welcome to LearnWorlds Course Hub, an internal course marketplace where you can license your existing courses to other LearnWorlds schools.

This onboarding checklist will guide you through what the Course Hub is, why it matters, and how to get started as a Hub Publisher in just a few steps.

What Is the LearnWorlds Course Hub?

The Course Hub is a curated internal marketplace where LearnWorlds creators share their knowledge with others.

By listing your course on the Course Hub, you allow other schools to license and offer your course to their learners, while your original content remains protected. This means you can:

  • Generate income from existing courses.
  • Gain exposure across the LearnWorlds network.
  • Help other schools launch and grow faster.

Why Sell on Course Hub?

  • Unlock a New Revenue Stream: List your course once and earn per enrollment, with no extra course creation needed.
  • Retain Full Control Over Your Content: Your course structure, learning activities, and videos cannot be modified by buyers. Your intellectual property is always protected.

Become a Publisher in LearnWorlds Course Hub

Follow the steps below to become a Course Hub Publisher and start monetizing your existing content:

1. Pick a Course to License

Navigate to Courses & programsCourse Hub, click on List a course, and select one of your existing courses that’s eligible for the Course Hub.

The listed version will be separate from your school’s version, so you can later make edits for Course Hub listings only, if needed.

2. Create a Listing

Rename the course, if you want, and write a clear, benefit-driven description explaining what the course covers, who it’s for, and what learners gain. These changes will only be reflected in your listing and not in the original courses.

3. Craft the Landing Page Content

Write a strong introduction, course overview, or even add visual assets to show buyers the course’s style and value.

4. Set up Course Details

  • Select course level
  • Choose a category to list your course
  • Specify the main language in which the content is delivered.
  • Select available subtitles for course videos (optional)

5. Set Pricing & Access Duration

Choose your price per enrollment (e.g., $25, $40, etc.), and define the enrollment access period (e.g., 3 or 6 months).

  • After this period, no new enrollments are allowed.
  • Learners already enrolled retain access.

You can also select who can discover this course:

  • Everyone in the Course Hub
  • Only by sharing the link

6. Submit for Review

  • Click on Finish to send your course for LearnWorlds’ review.
  • Your listing will appear as Pending Approval.
  • If revisions are needed, you’ll receive clear feedback.

Course Requirements

Courses listed on the Course Hub must not include:

  • Live sessions
  • The following widgets embedded in eBooks:
    • Social Feed widget
    • Calendar Event widget
    • Marketing Form widget
    • Sign-in / Sign-up widget
  • Certificates with digital credentials
  • Drip feed
  • Password-protected activities
  • Synced activities

All videos must be hosted on LearnWorlds.

If your course includes unsupported features, you can remove them in the Course Hub version without affecting your original course.

Best Practices for Listing

To increase conversions:

  • Use clear, outcome-focused titles (e.g., “Intro to Graphic Design for Beginners”).
  • Add short preview videos.
  • Write detailed descriptions; buyers cannot preview the full course.

Content Protection & Privacy

  • Buyers cannot edit or duplicate your learning materials.
  • Only basic settings like title, landing page, and pricing can be customized by them.

How Billing Works (for Buyers)

  • Buyers must add a valid credit card to their school’s Course Hub Settings.
  • Charges are based on enrollments only.

Billing Overview:

  • The 30-day cycle begins when the license starts.
  • Each licensed course is being billed independently.
  • Billed for total enrollments at the end of each cycle.
  • If enrollment fees exceed $1,000 before the cycle ends, billing happens immediately, without disrupting the 30-day billing cadence.

Notes for Publishers:

To support the platform and marketplace operations, we charge a 10% commission, applied as a fee per enrollment.

How it works:

Let’s say you set your course price at $100. When a Buyer school licenses it and enrolls one learner, you receive the full $100 upfront. We then invoice the 10% commission ($10) separately, alongside your regular billing. If two learners enroll, you receive $200, and the invoiced fee becomes $20, simple and scalable.

This setup keeps your payouts straightforward while we handle the backend billing.

You’re now equipped to become a successful Course Hub Hub Publisher!
