How to Publish and Un-Publish your Pages

In LearnWorlds, you can publish a page (make it visible to your learners and visitors) or unpublish it (keep it in draft mode, hidden from public view).

It’s a simple way to control which pages appear on your school’s website at any given time.

In this article, we will learn two ways to publish or unpublish a page in your LearnWorlds school:

  • From the Page Properties
  • From the Pages Manager

Examples of When to Use Publishing/Unpublishing

  • When preparing a new sales page but you don’t want it live until launch day.
  • To hide a seasonal campaign page once the offer ends.
  • To test a new design or layout privately before making it public.
  • To temporarily replace your homepage with a promotional landing page.
  • To unpublish outdated content without deleting it.

Page Properties

1. Go to Website  DesignEdit Website.

2. Find the page you want to publish/unpublish.

3. Go to Page Properties by clicking Page Page Properties.

4. Change the page's status from Public to Draft or vice-versa.

Pages Manager

1. Go to Website Design  Edit Website.

2. Click Manage Pages to open the Pages Managerand choose the page you want to edit.

3. Hover over the Status setting and click to change the page's status, either from published to draft or vice-versa.

4. Click OK on the change status message.

This setting can be useful when you want to replace your school’s landing page with a temporary one

The following pages cannot be unpublished. If you try to change their status, you will get an error message.

  • System Pages (Home, After Login, Payment, Courses, Cookie Policy, Privacy, Terms & Conditions, Thank you)
  • Product pages, if the product is public. This includes Course, Bundle, and Subscription pages.
  • Affiliates pages, if you have enabled the Affiliate Program for your school.
  • Blog Home Page, if you have enabled the Blog.
