Just like in any social network, each user (admin, instructor, learner) in your school can have their personal Profile page, which is visible to all the school users, as long as you have it activated through Settings→Apps Configurator. 



To have access to their own Profile page and edit it,  the users can click on the main tiles menu...

...or in the dropdown menu found on the top right corner of most pages.



In this page the user can see almost every information related to their school activity, depending also on the school settings, according to which some data options can vary. We will show you all the possible options in a school where all Profile features are activated. 

1About



In “About” tab there can be found user’s personal information , such us the number of enrolled courses, the time spent in the school, the number of posts and the number of achievements.



The list of achievements (awarded certificates), badges and enrolled courses are displayed a little bit lower in the page.


Certificates




Note: The user can easily download their certificate in pdf file , just by clicking on each of them.


Badges (if the Gamification Engine is activated in the school)



Courses





On the same tab, the user can have their “Professional experience” displayed, which can be added when clicking the “Edit” button (more info in no.3 below).



At the lower part of the page, in “Network “ area, all the “Followers” or “Following” profiles related to the user will be gathered all together. 



Note: A user can be followed either through their profile page…





... or through a post in community page or in a course discussion.

2 Activity


Any published posts or comments and all the community activity (likes, Best of, polls), are collected in a user’s Profile Page, in the “Activity” tab. This info is also visible to all the school users. 


2 “Edit” button

All users can add their preferred information on their profile page and also manage their privacy settings by clicking on the “Edit” button.


After doing so a window will pop-up, in which the user can navigate to the respective tab to further edit their data.

Through this window, the user’s account Avatar can be changed by clicking on the image on the top right corner.



General



In this tab there can be added the user’s account name, email, location, personal website and address.




Only the location and the website will be displayed in the Profile Page.

Professional Experience


In this tab the users can add their Bio or any kind of professional details with which they would like to embellish your Profile page.



Note: As mentioned earlier, your professional data will be displayed in About tab (no.1)



Social



Adding any social media personal page  can help a user expand their network and better connect with other school users out of the school environment.




Anyone visiting their Profile page will be able to click on the social button and visit the respective profile page.



Change Password



All Users, apart from admins with a LW account, are able to change their password though “Change password” tab.



Note: If you are an admin with LW account and wish to change password then please reset it in the Users page.

Privacy settings


Through this tab the user can opt-in or out of the Functional, Analytical , Marketing Cookies, can activate/deactivate the schools email notifications and also decide how to handle their personal data in the school. 




Note: Depending on the Privacy/GDPR settings of the school, some options or even the whole tab “Privacy Settings”, can be excluded from the pop-up window.
