Google Search Console Verification is one of the many Analytics integrations that our platform provides. In particular, verification is the process of proving that you own the site or app that you claim to own. The ownership needs to be confirmed because, once you are verified for a site or app, you have access to its private Google Search data, which can affect how Google Search crawls it.
In this article, we will learn how to verify your LearnWorlds school with Google.
Set up the Verification
To verify your school, follow this link and add your school URL to the URL prefix field.
You must opt-in with the HTML tag verification. In order to do this, you will need to click on the HTML tag method and then proceed to click on COPY.
You will need to add only the part between content=" and "/>, in your Google Search Console Verification activation field. For example: In this meta tag, you will need add only the part: dQBTBFJ3Qnv-sjhpqRq7a29tMEuoVhJf2KL-JJRBUOsVerify your LearnWorlds school with Google
1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Growth Tools.
2. Activate Google Search Console Verification and paste the verification code - HTML tag (only add the part after content=" ) that you copied in the previous step in the appropriate text field.
3. Click on Save.
If you already have one LearnWorlds school verified in Google Search Console and want to verify additional schools, you need to click on Search property → Add property and follow the aforementioned steps again.
