If you are offering subscriptions in your school, you might have given the chance to your users to first "play around" for some days, by a enjoying a Trial subscription period. But what if your user needs some more time before purchasing the subscription? Below we will show you the way to extend your user's Trial period, just in 4 steps! :)


1 Firstly, in your Stripe dashboard, navigate to "Subscriptions" and click on a specific customer.




2 Then click "Update subscription" button on top.


3 In the customer's account page scroll down and click "Edit"


4 At the popped up calendar, choose the preferable date for his Trial expiration and you are ready!


Now your user will have more time to decide if his interested in purchasing your subscription, without any stress or anxiety! ;)


Note: The above procedure is also used to change the billing cycle of a subscription. For example, if you wish to change the subscription renewal date from i,e, the 10th of a month in order to be renewed on the 20th, then you should put first the user in Trial period.After the Trial period expires the user will go on as subscribed user but with the new billing date. Important: Prorate should be disabled  to avoid after turning the user's subscription to Trial to give them back credits (" When a customer’s plan changes during a billing cycle, a proration line item is applied on their next invoice. They receive a credit for the unused portion of the old plan and are billed for only the remainder of the month for the new plan.")
